Jimmy Pope joined Guardian in 2012 and currently teaches Guardian’s after-school breakin’ program at the New Song Academy and the 29th Street Community Center. Jimmy has been dancing for over 15 years and is a current member of the Baltimore-based b-boy (breakdance) crew called the Incredible Sushi Kings (ISK). He has performed at various parties and special events for organizations such as The United Way, PayPal, and the Horseshoe Baltimore. Jimmy also organizes and manages the semi-annual breakin’ battle called the “The Break Down.”
Jimmy works for the Small Business Administration where he aids, counsels, and assists socially and economically disadvantaged business owners compete within the American economy. He is also a founding member of Krewski, a dance-inspired entertainment company that specializes in creative videos, campaigns, and events.
